Dr. Stephanie Rettenmeier joined the Eye to Eye Clinic in 2018. Originally from Wisconsin, she moved to Oregon to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree through Pacific University in 2017. Following graduation, she completed a residency with the Veterans Administration Portland Health Care System in Salem, OR. Here she specialized in primary care optometry and worked with a largely geriatric population treating and managing ocular disease. Dr. Rettenmeier ensures patients have a well-rounded eye exam which includes maintaining exceptional vision through contact lenses or glasses as well as monitoring ocular health. She emphasizes the importance of staying healthy & likes to educate you on how your health can affect your eyes and vision.
When Dr. Rettenmeier is not practicing optometry, she enjoys crocheting, reading, caring for her cats, exploring the Pacific Northwest by backpacking and hiking, and cooking with locally farm-grown ingredients.
